Link to a channel

In Flock, you can refer to a public channel in another conversation. We call this linking to a channel and you can do this in chats and channels across your devices.

Linking to a channel is a great way to help team members discover public channels they aren't aware of or to redirect discussions to a relevant public channel. Team members are shown a preview of the channel you linked to along with an option to open it.

  • In any conversation, type # in the Message Editor.
  • Select from the list of public channels and hit Send.
Android
  • In any conversation, type # in the Message Editor.
  • Select from the list of public channels and hit Send.
iOS
  • In any conversation, type # in the Message Editor.
  • Select from the list of public channels and hit Send.
