As a team admin, you control how new users discover and join your team.
- Go to the Admin Panel (https://admin.flock.com).
- Click on Team Permissions in the sidebar.
- Click on the Team Sign up Permissions section to expand it.
Enable approved domains
Approved domains is a list of email domains from which users can discover and join your Flock team without admin approval. This option is disabled by default.
Once enabled, you can add multiple approved domains with one obvious exception - public email domains. This prevents accidental additions to your team from free Gmail.com or Outlook.com email IDs.
- When someone tries to join your team from a non-approved email domain, they’re asked to wait for their ‘join team’ request to be approved by a team admin.
Make your team public
If required, you can make your team public so anyone on the internet (using any email address) can discover and join your Flock team without admin approval.
