We send you an occasional email or two to help you make the most of Flock. These emails are usually tips on how to use a feature, announcements on new features, and most importantly, notifications about activity in your Flock team.
The emails we send you can broadly be categorized as follows:
- News and tips
Flock tips: Tips and tricks to help you make the most of Flock.
Flock news and announcements: Updates on new features, insights, and customer stories.
- Team updates
Team activity digest: Notifications about the latest activity in your team.
Individual team updates: Notifications about new members and public channels.
- Missed messages
Daily digest missed messages: A summary of unread messages received in the last day.
Missed direct messages: A summary of direct messages received when you're offline. Only sent to users on the web app and invited users who haven't joined the team.
Missed channel messages: A summary of messages in channels received when you're offline. Only sent to users on the web app and invited users who haven't joined the team.
Invite reminders: Reminders to join the team, and notifications about pending invites.
You can customize these notifications by updating your email preferences.
To update your email preferences:
- Click on the gear icon next to your user profile to access the Settings menu.
- Click on Profile and Account to go to your account settings.
- Click on Email Preferences to see the types of email notifications Flock sends.
- Choose the email notifications you’d like to receive and click Save.
