When you create a channel in your Flock team, you become a channel admin. As a channel admin, you'll be able to remove members, delete messages, and add/remove channel admins.
Once your channel has dozens of members, it's a good idea to add additional channel admins so they can handle things when you're out of the office. To add a team member as a channel admin, they need to be a member of the channel.
To add a channel admin:
- Open the channel and click on its name in the Chat tab area to see a list of members.
- Click on the arrow icon to the right of the channel member you want to add as a channel admin. Click Make admin to add that channel member as a channel admin.
- Everyone in the channel is notified about the addition of a channel admin.
To remove a channel admin:
- Open the channel and click on its name in the Chat tab area to see a list of members.
- Click on the arrow icon to the right of the channel member you want to remove as a channel admin. Click on Remove as admin to revert the channel admin to a channel member.
- Everyone in the channel is notified about the removal of a channel admin.
