User Details & Settings
At the top of the Active Chats panel, Flock shows a section with your name, profile picture, status, an option to Invite new members, and a gear icon to access the settings menu.
When you click the gear icon, the Settings drop-down menu shows up.
- User Profile
Click to change your profile details. To know more, see the Your Profile article.
- Do Not Disturb
When you're busy working on a project and do not want to be disturbed, you can set Flock to mute all notifications from the team for 1 hour, 8 hours, 12 hours or until you resume.
- Notification preferences
Flock notifies you about new messages through popups and audio alerts. It also lets you know when a colleague is online. You can select which of these notifications you want to receive.
- Manage Apps and Team
The Browse apps and Manage your apps options take you to the Flock App Store to browse and manage apps, and the Manage your team option takes you to the Team Overview panel to update team settings.
While the first option in this section, Keyboard Shortcuts, shows you various keyboard shortcuts for Flock, the other two options route you to the Flock support team. You can click Contact support or Report a bug to get in touch with us for any issues and we'll be happy to help.
- More options
In the final set of options, you can add new teams to the same login via Add new team, close the Flock app via Quit Flock, or sign out of the app via Sign out.
- Language and Version
At the bottom of the Settings drop-down menu, you can select the language of the interface and check the version number of the software.
